I am not good with photo’s but see Chicago Illinois on 4/15/2018!  Oh My!

Now on to the biggest news: I have a friend who writes books….http://sherylsteines.com/

Sheryl writes for women, urban fantasy, and she is listed on Amazon.  Please check her out if you love to read.  http://sherylsteines.com/author-sheryl-steines/

Sheryl Steines authorauthor SS.jpg

As a self-proclaimed television junkie and an avid reader, Sheryl Steines writes what she loves. From the character/relationship story from one of her writing inspirations (Judy Blume), to the fantastical world of magic and mayhem in another inspiration (J.K. Rowling), to the strong female character of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Sheryl uses the world of magic and mystery, mashed with a bit of detective work, to weave a story of women who face challenges, overcoming them with dignity and honesty, using her own challenges as inspiration.

Sheryl has written two books in her Wizard Hall Chronicles series (The Day of First Sun and Black Market) and working on a new series, The Empaths (Gracie Madison Feels the World). Both series introduce the reader to young women battling demons of the supernatural kind and the personal kind, each fighting to find their way.

Sheryl Steines has been writing since she was seven years old, since she picked up her first Nancy Drew novel and hasn’t stopped. When she’s not reading or writing, she can be found tooling around in her convertible, supporting causes and raising her kids, dealing with extra ordinary challenges.

For more about Sheryl Steines, her books and her life check out http://www.Sherylsteines.com, @SherylSteines, FB Sheryl Steines Author, and Instagram at Wizardhall.

I have no idea how some people create the life they want.  I am 51 and no ideas as to what I want to be when I grow up.  That is out of this world!  For those that know me, I am in college full time to get my Master in HRM.  I have two other degrees.  But today, I left a job I did not like for many reasons that are Out of this World. Enjoy the photo’s mention if you stopped by or which photo you like above best?

Krista- what a fantastic topic and a wonderful picture to go with it. I love love love visiting places and seeing monuments that have been there for ages and weathered the storms that change brings. The character that such places and things have is incredible. Without speaking, I feel I can exchange notes with it.

Book Review Time To Lie by Phil Taylor

phile taylor a time to kill read booksHave you ever wanted a future version of yourself but that it could come back and be a force working against you? Time to Lie by Phil Taylor is a thought provoking novel to show you how your truth is I just a lie chosen to believe and everyone has this choice.  The book starts out when the main character is Landon a man who is rushing to run down the stairs to catch his first kiss with a girl, but the first kiss is just looking with his eyes.  Landon will get the opportunity to studying physics in college under a renowned professor.  Landon misses the bus ride.  He has two friends in college and loves the college life of independence.  His father was a firefighter and has passed away whom Landon misses.  Doctor Kuroda plays a role in Landon’s life and at the first meeting Kuroda hands Landon a worn card first edition of Joe Namath rookie card, it was just like the one his dad gave him on his tenth birthday, the one he thought was in his wallet, which he would for years pull it out and reminisce about his father and his love of the JETS team. How did that happen?  I think that this is where the reader wants to keep reading!  It was interesting to learn that Landon has Asperger a which is a syndrome that is on the high functioning end of the spectrum. Affected children and adults have difficulty with social interactions and exhibit a restricted range of interests and/or repetitive actions. Therefore Landon, I believe is a geeky nerd type of personality which others judged him. This was a unique take on the “time traveling” concept, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
